Dr. Michael Lucroy has cared for veterinary cancer patients in Florida and Indiana and has served on the faculty at Oklahoma State University and Purdue University. As a board-certified veterinary oncologist, Dr. Lucroy is passionate about helping pets with cancer live fuller, more comfortable lives. He brings experience from clinical practice, academic medicine, and research to provide thoughtful, evidence-based cancer care. His special interests include cancer immunotherapy, lymphoma, and palliative care. Dr. Lucroy enjoys working closely with pet owners and family veterinarians to develop treatment plans tailored to each pet’s individual needs and every family’s goals. He believes that collaboration and open communication are key to achieving the best outcomes for his patients and their families. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lucroy has lectured at national and international veterinary conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the advancement of cancer care for pets.
New to Central Texas, Dr. Lucroy relocated to be closer to family and is excited to build strong partnerships with local veterinarians. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, spending time with his two dogs, and exploring all that Central Texas has to offer.
